HOW TO CLEAN

- Use mild soap and warm water for routine cleaning.

- Gently scrub with a soft toothbrush to get between the rings.

- Dry completely with a soft cloth - moisture loves to hide in crevices.

Tip: Use a microfiber cloth or stainless steel polishing wipe to bring back that dark shine.

WHAT TO AVOID

Even steel has its limits. For longest life:

- Avoid harsh chemicals (bleach, pool chlorine, etc.)

- Don't store damp - moisture can lead to hidden gunk buildup

- Remove before heavy-duty work or sports if you don't want to warp a ring - Skip perfumes or sprays directly on the metal - they may leave residue

STORAGE

- Store in a dry, cool place - preferably in a fabric pouch or on a display stand

- Keep away from scratch-prone surfaces when not wearing

- Avoid tangle-ups by hanging or separating complex pieces (especially layered chains or spikework)

GENERAL TIPS

- Minor movement between rings is normal - that's the nature of chainmaille.
